VISHUDDHA CHKRA (THROT CHAKRA)
Vishuddha or the Throt Chakra is the fifth primary Chakra of the human body according to the Hindu tradition of tantra. Which means "especially pure".
This Chakra also represent cleansing not only in a physical level but also in the psyche and mind.
This chakra is located between the third and fifth neck vertebrae, which opens towards the throat. It controls the functions of the mouth, teeth, jaw, throat, neck, esophagus, thyroid gland and the spine.
The element of this Chakra is ether (Akasha).
If this Chakra is healthy, and active, it helps in communication, self expression, and power of choic. it makes it easy interact and communicate with others. It clear voice with resonance, clarity and rhythm. One can keep a journal to express inner feelings and realize self-uniqueness.
When the Chakra is imbalanced it causes many physical issues such as sore throats, ear infections, back and neck aches, thyroid disorders and mental and emotional distress like poor communication, poor listener, and speech impediment, weak voice, yelling, and dominating conversations.
It is symbolic represented by a lotus with sixteen petals, representing the sixteen abilities that a human being can potentially master. It's mantra is HAM.
